The fall of Afghanistan in our view

The day before yesterday, as witnesses to history, we witnessed the downfall of the Afghan government.

The reaction of the Afghan people is the same as the wave of people fleeing Hong Kong. It’s easy to find out that if people's hearts are towards the Taliban or not, but maybe in a few years, there will be a saying that "the people chose the Taliban".

Unexpectedly, spokesperson for the CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded immediately: "Respect the choice of the Afghan people." It seems that the view that "the CCP is not China, but a bunch of terrorists" is not a stigma, but a statement of facts.

About the fall of Afghanistan, we are not going to discuss about which side we should choose, but we've learned two lessons:

First, we cannot naively believe in any compromise of a paranoid.

Second, we cannot naively believe that any foreign governments will stand by us until the end, for there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Share for my comrades.
