According to the information I've known:
The conflicts are related to the historical issues about heritage of the USSR, the Russian nation's origin, Neo-Nazism's infiltration, the Pro-Russian militants and so on, it’s complicated.
The constant war has had Ukrainian people suffered. On the other hand, people in Russia held the antiwar protests, standing up for the refugees with the brotherhood between two countries, hoping to stop the war.
Instead of choosing which opinion to follow, I'd focus on the further situation about the war.
It reminds me that there was once a fan had a doubt about “Occupying Mongolia”, and we always respond:
About Mongolia, we understand their history and respect the status quo. We respect Mongolian people, meanwhile, respect the position of ours.
And the conflicts have also proved a fact once again: Military measures will not bring a “family reunion” but will tear the “family” apart.
The fact and a lesson are just right in front of us:
Compatriots must not treat each other with force that easily.
Otherwise, today’s Ukraine and Russia, will be tomorrow’s China.
Be vigilant, my compatriots!
